The Grand Vacay :))

Our group was really longing for a trip and we’re glad we had a place to go to. And that is Laurence’s hometown, Dolores, Quezon. =))

Our first stop when we reached Dolores, Quezon was the public market! Can you believe that? Coz we had to buy foods. We had seafood and veggies. And then we proceeded to Laurence’s house. We had met his family and they welcomed us very warmly.

Our first activity was really fascinating and unbelievable! I had never thought that I would be able to do the things I long to do in this vacation.

We roamed around the foot of the mountain. There were a lot of stations. Actually if you are a catholic you would know how many because there lies the town’s station of the cross. Every station, we lit up a candle and pray intimately. This is one of the few things that got me fascinated. I never knew that this trip would draw me and everyone else closer to God. And that is a blessing! Its not everyday that one would experience that!

Everything we did on the first activity was like holy and sacred. We came down the well. A well which is, I think, more or less 10-feet under. And it wasn’t easy to go down because it was too narrow down there. The water down the well was so cold. When you talk, the smoke comes out of your mouth. Its more than that! Its just not easy to explain but its more than that! =)

After going down the well, we had to come back to town and see the river. The river is no ordinary. You had to pass a stair which has, by the way, a nearly 300 steps. It was not a problem until we realized we were too tired to climb up again.

We back headed home and the BOYS prepared our dinner while others were assigned to wash the dishes =) it was fun watching ourselves doing household stuff. Every meal and every thing we had was special for we’re like a big family. We all eat on one long table. Sleep in one place. Brush our teeth all at once. Unforgettable!

Good night! I love you guys! :*
