The Departed One

I remember those lovely days

When your sweet smile strikes my face

Your soft voice caress my young mind

As you tell stories that lightens up my eyes.

We were always sitting at the big window bar

At the right side of your old, big, yellow house

The road isn’t that far and your garden is just beside

And from this angle, we see a lot

Busy people, buzzing bees

Singing flowers and dancing trees

These moments I can’t forget

When you were here and we were complete

We always laugh like there’s no tomorrow

Chat like we wouldn’t have the chance again

We always inspire other people

our bond is simply exceptional.

They see smiles and laughter;

oh those big curves on our faces,

they all thought it was priceless.

But then came the time that you had to leave

for you weren’t destined to forever live

for a while we had lost those big curves on our faces

and instead we had those tear drops and time wasted

but then the heaven’s so good

guided and led us back to those happy days

we never forget to share your stories

in that way, we feel you’re still with us.

Though you’re far from here, I can feel

Your love is here and is very near

You never failed to make me feel alone

Oh how I wish you won’t disappear.

We’re strong with the idea of having you

We stand still because of what you had taught us

We are thankful for having you as our “amah”

We are thankful to God for He never let us to be weak without you.
